A Bumpy Ride

Aircrafts. You really shouldn't think about all that could go wrong. Or even how strange it is that you are actually flying 12 km above the ground or ocean with a speed of 850 km/h. Normally you wouldn't really notice it, you just sit and have carton food and watch a movie.
Too bad that didn't entire happen during this flight. I was very well aware of the fact that we were high above the Atlantic Ocean. Especially when we first came into a patch of turbulence.
The rest of the patches of turbulence went quite unnoticed. I was to busy chatting to my new Canadian friend from London, Ontario. From what I have heard from the Canadian sitting around me, it is a pretty awesome country. Well, I can't really make a judgement about it yet, but the bunch I met today were certainly really friendly!
The best thing of it all was seeing a blue-haired person sitting at the arrivals gate. YAFFA!!!
How amazing it is to be greeted by a familiar face when you arrive in a country you have never been before.
We were only able to spend an hour together (mostly on the subway), but it was amazingly nice :).
First impression of Canada: POSITIVE AS CAN BE.
Things learned today:
I had a whole list of things, but I can only think of the fact that Wall Markt is big and that Canadians are friendly. I guess it is time to lay my head on a pillow and charge the batteries for the next part of the journey!
